Army/Navy Game
PSINet Stadium, Baltimore, MD
December 2, 2000
It was a great weekend. The Friday night party was fun. Lots of familiar and some not so familiar faces. Plenty of good food and drink. Saturday was COLD! The '73 Tailgate started a little later than originally scheduled due to a mix-up with car keys (for a full accounting please contact TG2...), but the crowd more than made up for that with the food (lots of fried chicken!), an excellent keg, plenty of hot chocolate and hours spent with good friends! In addition to the '73 blimp, there were six others floating over our parking lot. It was truly a sight to see. The march-on route came right by us. The Cadets were all ramrod straight and looked like they were having no fun (though some of us tried to bring them to life). Then along came the Mids. Our faith in youth was restored. Those young men and women (no, I am not talking about '73) were having a ball! Ravens Stadium is nice. It is a great facility for future A/N games. You just need to watch out for the shadows...the cold really creeps up on you. (Pass that flask...) For the first time this season the game was exciting. It went down to the wire but NAVY prevailed (as if we ever doubted...) and the final score was NAVY 30, ARMY 28. It is also a well known fact that we won the party.
